We're looking for a surrogate mother

Help John & Liezl become parents.

John and Liezl on their wedding day

Our Story

We've been married since 2024, and from the start we've dreamed of becoming parents. We tried IVF, Liezl went through everything, right up to experimental treatments. Eventually, it became clear that carrying a pregnancy wasn't ever happening for us.

But we haven't given up. We have embryos frozen and ready. The next step in our journey is finding a surrogate. Someone willing to help bring our baby into the world.

If you think you could be that person, we'd love to hear from you. Even if it's not you, sharing this page with a mom you know could change our lives.

Could You Be Our Surrogate?

There are legal requirements and medical guidelines for surrogacy.

What we're looking for

  • You've given birth before and have at least one child of your own
  • You're in good general health (no uncontrolled high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.)
  • You're a South African resident
  • You're willing to undergo medical and psychological assessments

What we cover

  • All medical and pregnancy-related expenses
  • Legal costs for the entire process
  • Loss of earnings during the pregnancy
  • Insurance for your wellbeing
  • Psychological support throughout

How It Works

  1. Screening Medical & psychological assessments
  2. Legal Agreement A surrogacy agreement is drafted together
  3. Court Approval The High Court confirms the agreement
  4. Embryo Transfer Our frozen embryos are transferred to you
  5. Pregnancy & Birth Support and care, all the way
